What You'll Do8
- 1Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other high-traffic areas, ensuring they meet Walmart's standards of hygiene and safety.
- 2Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the store, replacing liners and disposing of waste properly.
- 3Sweep, mop, and scrub floors in sales areas, entrances, and backrooms, using equipment like floor scrubbers and pressure washers.
- 4Restock paper products, soap, and other supplies in restrooms and break rooms, maintaining inventory levels.
- 5Report maintenance issues, such as leaks or damaged fixtures, to management to ensure a safe environment.
- 6Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals, including MSDS guidelines and safe dilution practices.
- 7Maintain cleanliness of the store exterior, including sidewalks, parking lot, and cart corrals.
- 8Assist with other janitorial tasks as needed, such as cleaning windows, mirrors, and displays.
Requirements6
- 1No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- 2Ability to stand and walk for long periods, push/pull heavy carts, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- 3Comfortable working overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- 4Basic proficiency in reading and writing to follow safety labels and instructions.
- 5High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- 6Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace, per Walmart's policy.
