IT Infrastructure Project Manager (Zero Trust & Network Security)
Overview
This role owns the planning, coordination, and execution of Zero Trust and network security initiatives at a global scale. You will partner with IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture, and Application Teams to deliver complex modernization projects. You will drive outcomes that directly support the network security strategy, working with vendors and business stakeholders. This contract role offers the chance to shape security infrastructure in a large enterprise environment.
What You'll Do7
- 1Drive the execution of Zero Trust network security projects from initiation through closure, ensuring on-time delivery.
- 2Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Enterprise Architecture to align on project goals.
- 3Build and maintain detailed project plans, tracking milestones, risks, and dependencies using Microsoft Project or similar tools.
- 4Lead vendor selection and management, ensuring third-party deliverables meet security and quality standards.
- 5Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating requirements into actionable tasks.
- 6Monitor project budgets, resources, and timelines, escalating issues to leadership as needed.
- 7Document project lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices.
Requirements7
- 15+ years of project management experience in IT infrastructure, with a focus on network security or Zero Trust.
- 2Proven track record of delivering global infrastructure projects, including cloud and on-premises environments.
- 3Strong knowledge of network security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, and identity management.
- 4Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, adapting as needed for project success.
- 5PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred.
- 6Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- 7Prior experience in the healthcare or finance sector is a plus.
