We seek an attorney to lead IP Compliance efforts supporting AI infrastructure at global scale. What You'll Do11
- 1Analyze laws and regulations concerning AI to understand their impact on WD
- 2Collaborate across functions on AI governance and risk assessments
- 3Provide strategic analysis and advice to internal clients on IP Compliance matters
- 4Assist with IP-related internal investigations
- 5Develop and provide training to employees regarding IP Compliance topics
- 6Participate in IP-related on-boarding discussions for high-risk candidates
- 7Participate in IP-related off-boarding for high-risk terminations
- 8Qualify with undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science electrical engineering or related discipline
- 9Maintain membership in one state bar with 2-3+ years of experience in patent/trade secret litigation or transactional law
- 10Communicate legal and compliance issues clearly in writing and verbally
- 11Demonstrate excellent presentation skills and customer service focus
Requirements5
- 1Undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science electrical engineering materials science or related discipline
- 2J.D. degree from an accredited law school with top 50 law school preference
- 3Membership in one state bar with 2-3+ years of experience in patent/trade secret litigation or transactional law
- 4Knowledge of trade secret and patent law
- 5Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts related to AI storage semiconductor and computing industries
Salary Insight
$171 - $227k per year
