iOS Developer, Swift & SwiftUI
Overview
You will own the automated UI test suite plus BAU development for a client iOS app used by millions. The stack is Swift with SwiftUI, UIKit, and Combine for reactive patterns. You will join a team of five iOS engineers and collaborate with product and QA on feature work. What You'll Do8
- 1Build automated UI tests with XCUITest covering key user flows in the first 90 days.
- 2Maintain and expand the XCTest unit test suite for new and existing features.
- 3Implement new screens and features in SwiftUI and UIKit across the iOS app.
- 4Use Combine to manage asynchronous data streams and bind UI state.
- 5Integrate REST APIs and handle JSON parsing with Codable and URLSession.
- 6Manage external libraries with CocoaPods and resolve dependency conflicts.
- 7Run and triage CI test results, fixing flaky tests and raising coverage.
- 8Ship BAU updates: bug fixes, small enhancements, and App Store releases.
Requirements7
- 17+ years developing iOS apps with Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
- 2Hands-on with Combine for reactive programming and data flow.
- 33+ years writing unit tests with XCTest and UI tests with XCUITest.
- 4Experience managing libraries via CocoaPods.
- 5Proven record integrating REST APIs with URLSession and Codable.
- 6Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
- 7Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
