Intermediate Carpenter Position in New Jersey
Overview
Volarify seeks an Intermediate Carpenter in New Jersey to support reconstruction projects. The ideal candidate will provide operational support, collaborate with estimators, and mentor entry-level staff. This Level 3 role focuses on expanding expertise across residential commercial and multifamily carpentry specialties while managing projects independently.
What You'll Do11
- 1Identify potential project issues and request guidance when needed
- 2Answer routine project questions and escalate complex ones appropriately
- 3Move and protect client contents without damage
- 4Construct containment systems for dust and contaminants
- 5Perform flood cutting and salvage labeling of baseboards cabinets doors and related materials
- 6Complete shrink-wrap training and install four projects
- 7Identify insulation types thicknesses and R-values
- 8Apply trim work door cabinetry insulation rough framing acoustical ceilings roofing and siding
- 9Conduct daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections
- 10Maintain detailed records of time equipment usage and materials consumed
- 11Attend operational and safety training programs
Requirements10
- 1Supervise unskilled laborers entry-level employees and subcontractors in residential settings
- 2Answer basic project questions and consult senior staff for complex matters
- 3Maintain equipment used during daily operations
- 4Perform emergency services such as board-ups and building protection
- 5Demonstrate strong customer service skills and adherence to company standards
- 6Work nights weekends and travel periodically as required
- 7Report time equipment and material usage accurately
- 8Participate in shrink-wrap installation projects
- 9Possess 5+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 10Hold AWS Certified certification
