Information Systems Engineer 3
Overview
You will own the full lifecycle of software solutions that drive process effectiveness and efficiency at DGN Technologies. You will partner with process owners to identify improvement opportunities, then design, build, and deploy Python-based tools and integrations. You will manage projects from discovery to production, working with cross-functional teams in an onsite role in San Jose. This role combines hands-on development with project leadership, offering end-to-end ownership of impactful systems.
What You'll Do6
- 1Identify and document process improvement opportunities with process owners
- 2Design and build software solutions using Python and SQL to automate workflows
- 3Manage software projects through their lifecycle, from requirements to deployment
- 4Debug and troubleshoot production issues with Django and PostgreSQL
- 5Coordinate with IT and operations teams to integrate REST APIs and ETL pipelines
- 6Monitor system performance and implement enhancements with Docker and Kubernetes
Requirements6
- 15+ years in software engineering with focus on process automation
- 23+ years with Python and SQL in production environments
- 3Experience with Django or similar web frameworks
- 4Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes for deployment
- 5Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously
- 6Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
