Teach infants at Wow and Flutterville in Portland, Oregon, shaping young minds in a Waldorf and Reggio-inspired program. What You'll Do8
- 1Design and implement age-appropriate, anti-bias curriculum using Waldorf and Reggio methods for infant classrooms.
- 2Guide infants with love, safety, kindness, and respect, fostering agency and co-learning.
- 3Collaborate with co-educators to maintain a sensory-rich, wonder-filled environment.
- 4Engage infants in daily routines that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- 5Document child progress and communicate with families regularly.
- 6Ensure classroom safety and compliance with ORO (Oregon Registry Online) standards.
- 7Participate in CPR/First Aid training and maintain certifications.
- 8Complete ongoing professional development, including Safe Sleep for Infants and Foundations of Learning.
Requirements8
- 11+ year experience in a licensed child care center, required.
- 2Current Oregon CBR (Central Background Registry) number, required.
- 3Valid Food Handler's Card and CPR/First Aid for Infants and Adults.
- 4Completion of Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect course.
- 5Completion of Introduction to Child Care Health and Safety course.
- 6Completion of Foundations of Learning training.
- 7Completion of Safe Sleep for Infants course.
- 8Positive work ethic, reliability, and passion for working with children.
Salary Insight
