What You'll Do7
- 1Develop and execute a measurable ESG strategy integrating environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and governance excellence across all operations.
- 2Establish and manage Cohere's philanthropic foundation, identifying strategic giving priorities and partnerships aligned with the mission.
- 3Lead philanthropy and research collaboration, engaging universities and academic partners.
- 4Scale employee giving and volunteer programs to build a culture of social responsibility and community engagement.
- 5Design impact frameworks and KPIs to track ESG performance, philanthropic outcomes, and employee engagement.
- 6Ensure compliance with ESG regulations and reporting standards, while identifying innovation opportunities.
- 7Collaborate with communications and people teams to convey impact strategies to internal and external audiences.
Requirements8
- 115+ years in ESG, sustainability, impact management, or philanthropy leadership, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
- 2Proven track record implementing comprehensive ESG strategies in technology or enterprise software companies.
- 3Experience establishing and managing philanthropic foundations or corporate giving programs and employee volunteerism.
- 4Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, reporting standards, and relevant regulations.
- 5Demonstrated ability to measure and report on social and environmental impact using quantitative and qualitative metrics.
- 6Excellent stakeholder management skills engaging executives, investors, and community partners.
- 7Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.
- 8Advanced degree in Business, Sustainability, Social Impact, or related field (MBA preferred).
