What You'll Do10
- 1Build and operate local tanker deliveries to customers within 150 miles of Chicago
- 2Design efficient routes to ensure daily home time and ~10 loads per week
- 3Ship liquid chemical freight using tanker trailers and adhere to safety protocols
- 4Drive and backhaul using intermodal equipment with a focus on timely deliveries
- 5Own the end-to-end loading, unloading, and documentation processes
- 6Lead compliance with HazMat and Tanker endorsements and TWIC requirements
- 7Deliver measurable performance improvements through safe driving and on-time performance
- 8Collaborate with the Schneider intermodal team to coordinate schedules and loads
- 9Maintain equipment and report any maintenance needs promptly
- 10Support onboarding and training initiatives for new drivers and orientation requirements
Requirements10
- 1Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and HazMat endorsements at hire
- 2TWIC card required within 60 days of hire
- 3Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience
- 4Live within 40 miles of Chicago IL
- 5HazMat endorsement reimbursed upon receipt

- 8$5,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 months in the first year
