Graphic Designer & Social Media Associate, Nonprofit Marketing
Overview
The role owns in-house graphic design and social media for a Jewish nonprofit at a regional scale, supporting educators, funders, and partners. You will shape brand storytelling through visual design, digital content, and social campaigns. This part-time position blends creative work with analytics to grow engagement and amplify thought leadership. The team emphasizes care, collaboration, and excellence in service to the community.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build brand-consistent marketing materials across print and digital channels
- 2Design event collateral, infographics, reports, presentations, and branded templates using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
- 3Develop, edit, and track social media content across platforms to expand followers and engagement
- 4Assist in monitoring social media activity and gathering insights
- 5Collect, catalog, and organize assets including stories, statistics, photos, and videos for reuse
- 6Support team projects, vendor coordination, data collection, and reporting
- 7Maintain brand standards and ensure quality across all materials
- 8Contribute to ideation of campaigns and content ideas that align with organizational goals
- 9Coordinate with communications teammates to ensure timely delivery of materials
- 10Prepare assets for email marketing and online campaigns
Requirements10
- 1Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Canva
- 2Experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite
- 3Familiarity with Salesforce Pardot or similar email platforms
- 4Ability to create engaging digital content including copy, graphics, and video edits
- 5Comfort with platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn
- 6Strong organizational skills and process orientation
- 7Creative thinker who takes calculated risks and brings unique ideas
- 8Knowledge of or interest in the Jewish nonprofit landscape is a plus
- 9Part-time availability ~10 hours per week with occasional event support
- 10Remote-friendly with flexibility in schedule and adherence to important observances
