General Manager - Massage Envy Clinic Operations
Overview
You'll own daily operations at a Massage Envy clinic in Raleigh, NC, driving sales, customer service, and staff performance. You'll work a minimum of 32 hours weekly at the front desk, balancing leadership with hands-on member interaction. You'll report to the Area and District Managers, ensuring the clinic meets monthly and annual goals. This role stands out for its emphasis on coaching and developing a team of service providers in a wellness environment.
What You'll Do9
- 1Cover the front desk for at least 32 hours weekly, handling member check-ins, scheduling, and retail sales.
- 2Lead daily huddles and coach staff in the moment to improve service standards and sales results.
- 3Hire, onboard, and train new clinic staff, partnering with the Area Manager on selections.
- 4Resolve member and guest service disputes quickly, turning issues into loyalty.
- 5Ensure the clinic meets monthly and annual performance goals through regular sales and service strategy meetings.
- 6Maintain staff schedules aligned with business needs and approved by the Area Manager.
- 7Keep the clinic fully stocked with retail and operational supplies, addressing maintenance issues promptly.
- 8Stay compliant with franchise agreements and state laws, verifying provider licenses and insurance on file.
- 9Safeguard clinic assets and cash through internal controls and security measures.
Requirements9
- 12+ years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience, with a High School Diploma.
- 2Proficiency in MS Office (email, spreadsheets, databases, and word processing).
- 3Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- 4Experience presenting information effectively in one-on-one and group settings.
- 5Math skills to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages, and interpret bar graphs.
- 6Reasoning skills to apply common sense to written, oral, or diagram instructions.
- 7Capability to handle multiple concrete variables in problem-solving.
- 8Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands and wrists, and occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
- 9Flexibility to work nights and weekends during peak business hours, especially if underperforming.
