You will run daily gas station operations at a busy BJ's Wholesale Club, serving thousands of members weekly. Working with POS systems and fuel dispensers, you ensure safe, accurate transactions and a clean, welcoming environment. What You'll Do10
- 1Open and close the gas station, executing all checklist procedures accurately.
- 2Assist members with fuel purchases, handling cash and POS transactions securely.
- 3Monitor and maintain fuel dispensers, tank gauges, and spill kits.
- 4Oversee fuel deliveries, confirming safe transfer and proper documentation.
- 5Perform daily price surveys, verifying posted signs match POS pricing.
- 6Clean restrooms and kiosk, restocking supplies and removing debris.
- 7Log visitors, obtain IDs, and alert management or help desk to alarms.
- 8Report non-routine vendor visits, including inspectors, to corporate.
- 9Respond to spills immediately, following OSHA spill bucket procedures.
- 10Back up other departments as needed, maintaining club standards.
Requirements8
- 16+ months gas station or retail experience preferred, or equivalent training.
- 26+ months cash register or POS system experience preferred.
- 3Ability to complete all required safety and OSHA training.
- 4At least 18 years old.
- 5Comfort with outdoor weather and standing for long shifts.
- 6Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and bending frequently.
- 7Basic math skills for cash handling and price checks.
- 8Friendly attitude and commitment to member service.
