Full Stack Software Engineer, Java & React
Overview
You will build and scale full-stack applications for a growing engineering team at ConnectedX, Inc., serving 12+ years of enterprise clients. You will own the architecture of RESTful APIs and database design, working across the stack from Java and Spring Boot to React and Node.js. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features that handle millions of transactions daily, using AWS and Docker for deployment. Your work will directly impact product reliability and developer velocity, with a focus on CI/CD automation and Kubernetes orchestration.
What You'll Do8
- 1Design and implement scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot, ensuring high availability and low latency.
- 2Build responsive frontend interfaces with React and TypeScript, integrating with REST APIs.
- 3Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for internal and external consumers, following OpenAPI specifications.
- 4Design and optimize database schemas for PostgreSQL and MongoDB, handling complex queries and indexing.
- 5Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins, automating testing and deployment.
- 6Implement containerized microservices with Docker and Kubernetes, managing scaling and resilience.
- 7Collaborate with product managers and UI/UX designers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- 8Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, participating in on-call rotation as needed.
Requirements9
- 112+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on full-stack engineering.
- 2Expert proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, including Hibernate and JPA.
- 3Strong experience with React and Redux, building single-page applications.
- 4Proven track record of designing and consuming REST APIs, with Postman or Swagger.
- 5Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- 6Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
- 7Familiarity with AWS services like EC2, S3, and RDS.
- 8Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- 9Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
