Overview
You will own end-to-end development of financial applications for a global leader in markets data, touching Node.js, React, and Azure. Your stack and work power critical trading and risk decisions across major financial centers. You will join a distributed team of engineers and fintech professionals, collaborating directly with product and data teams. This role stands out for its 15-month contract with remote flexibility and a focus on integrating AI agents into production software.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build and ship full stack features for investment banking platforms, using Node.js and React to handle high-volume market data flows.
- 2Design and deploy REST APIs that serve traders and analysts, ensuring low-latency responses across global regions.
- 3Scale distributed applications on Azure, migrating legacy services to cloud-native microservices when needed.
- 4Own CI/CD pipelines with Docker and Kubernetes, automating builds, tests, and deployments for rapid iteration.
- 5Develop AI agents and AI-powered features, integrating MCP solutions into the platform to automate workflows.
- 6Debug complex issues in production, tracing failures across services and optimizing database queries for performance.
- 7Drive code reviews and technical design discussions, setting standards for the team's frontend and backend patterns.
- 8Collaborate with data engineers to ensure seamless data flow between APIs and analytical engines, maintaining data integrity.
Requirements8
- 17-10 years of full stack development experience, with a focus on investment banking or financial services.
- 2Node.js or .NET Core for backend services, including building REST APIs and handling concurrent requests.
- 3Frontend expertise in React or Angular, with a portfolio of production-grade, responsive interfaces.
- 4Deep experience designing distributed systems on Azure, with AWS exposure as a plus.
- 5Hands-on DevOps skills: CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes in production environments.
- 6Strong proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, or AI-related development.
