Overview
Senior Frontend Engineer needed to design and ship complex product features at a construction SaaS startup. You will collaborate with product and design teams to create user-focused solutions while maintaining a healthy work-life balance in a small senior team environment.
What You'll Do11
- 1Weigh in on product direction - collaborate with product and design to shape features, make tradeoffs, and ensure we're solving the right problems for our users
- 2Build high-impact product features in TypeScript + React using functional components, hooks, and MaterialUI
- 3Apply a deep understanding of React state management & lifecycle to architect predictable maintainable UIs
- 4Use GraphQL Apollo to power type-safe data flows between frontend and backend
- 5Model and manage complex nested/relational datasets for billing compliance and analytics
- 6Contribute to backend services to support frontend features
- 7Write clear design docs QA plans and deployment strategies for your projects
- 8Weigh on product direction - collaborate with product and design to shape features, make tradeoffs, and ensure we're solving the right problems for our users
- 9Track relational data modeling and end-to-end project delivery
- 10Demonstrate strong collaboration skills in a small senior team environment
- 11Build shared libraries or developer tooling
Requirements11
- 14+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 2Proficiency in React including state management lifecycle and Hooks
- 3Strong full-stack fluency with schema changes debugging API calls and tuning backend queries
- 4Experience modeling relational data for complex applications
- 5Ability to deliver projects end-to-end from architecture to production
- 6Bonus: SaaS or complex web applications experience
- 7Construction tech ERP or billing/payments domain knowledge
- 8Accessibility best practices or advanced PDF handling
- 9Creative expression through hobbies outside coding
- 10Low ego collaborative mindset
- 11Passion for solving challenging problems in construction technology
