Overview
You will build and ship user interfaces for a Detroit-based client, owning the frontend architecture from component design to state management. Angular is the core framework, supported by TypeScript and RxJS, with a focus on scalable, maintainable code. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver features that impact real users from day one. What You'll Do8
- 1Build responsive, accessible user interfaces with Angular, TypeScript, and HTML5/CSS3.
- 2Implement state management using NgRx or Redux to handle complex application data flows.
- 3Integrate with backend services using RESTful or GraphQL APIs, ensuring robust data handling.
- 4Write unit tests and debug issues across the frontend codebase to maintain high code quality.
- 5Collaborate with backend developers and designers to deliver end-to-end features in the first 90 days.
- 6Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions using RxJS and reactive patterns.
- 7Optimize application performance and ensure compatibility across modern browsers.
- 8Use Git for version control and collaborate via CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
Requirements7
- 15+ years of frontend development experience, with a strong focus on building complex web applications.
- 2Expert-level proficiency in Angular and TypeScript, along with solid knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+).
- 3Hands-on experience with RxJS and state management libraries like NgRx or Redux.
- 4Experience integrating with RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
- 5Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments.
- 6Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7Local to Detroit, Michigan, and able to work onsite for this contract role.
