What You'll Do11
- 1Fulfill quick-turnaround requests for charts maps logos fullscreens and other custom topical images based on show needs
- 2Design engaging key art and build toolkits for OTT platforms
- 3Typeset and proofread text-based artwork such as promos factoids and infographics
- 4Animate full-screen graphics including scrolls text tears diagrams and maps
- 5Cut out and retouch headshots
- 6Design logos and custom elements for upcoming news events
- 7Work with management and editorial to determine the best way to tell each story
- 8Pitch and storyboard concepts for new shows and specials
- 9Build out elements for broadcast print and digital based on brand guidelines
- 10Collaborate on UI/UX projects to enhance user experience
- 11Maintain flexibility for weekend or overnight shifts
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or Communication or equivalent experience
- 2Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop Illustrator and After Effects
- 3Strong understanding of design principles layout typography and color theory
- 4Ability to handle high-volume daily graphic requests while meeting network-wide and show-specific standards
- 5Excellent time-management and multitasking skills
- 6Knowledge of Ross XPression Maps and Google Maps
- 7Flexible schedule including weekends or overnights
- 8UI/UX experience is a plus
- 9Knowledge of Maya Cinema 4D and other industry technologies
- 10At least 5+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
