Forklift Operator role managing multiple forklift types in a high volume warehouse. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and operate sit-down forklifts, cherry picker forklifts, and reach trucks to move and stage freight.
- 2Design and execute case picking and order selection to meet daily productivity and quality targets.
- 3Palletize products, wrap and stage pallets for shipping or storage ensuring accuracy.
- 4Move pallets using pallet jacks and other handling equipment.
- 5Support shipping and receiving activities including loading/unloading trucks.
- 6Track inventory and verify locations with RF scanners or similar devices.
- 7Perform general warehouse tasks such as organizing products and maintaining clean work areas.
- 8Adhere to safety procedures when operating equipment and handling materials.
- 9Maintain accurate counts and proper product placement to support inventory control.
- 10Collaborate with teammates to meet daily production and loading goals in a fast paced environment.
Requirements10
- 1Minimum 2 years of hands on experience operating reach forklifts and cherry picker forklifts.
- 2Proven ability to operate sit down, stand up, and reach forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center.
- 3Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
- 4Experience with order picking, case selection, and palletizing in a high volume environment.
- 5Competence with pallet jacks and other material handling equipment for loading and unloading.
- 6Background in shipping and receiving processes including loading and unloading trailers and staging freight.
- 7Experience using RF scanners or similar devices for inventory tracking and order processing.
- 8Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking, loading, and handling inventory.
- 9Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast paced warehouse setting.
- 10Commitment to following safety procedures when operating forklifts and handling materials.
Salary Insight
