Overview
You will own the customer experience at our new Belmont cafe, serving 100+ customers daily. The FOH team takes orders, crafts espresso drinks, and keeps the counter pristine. You will join a small team focused on quality and community, with room to grow as we expand. This role stands out for its Monday-Friday 6 AM-2 PM schedule, freeing your weekends.
What You'll Do7
- 1Take customer orders and explain products in detail
- 2Pack baked goods with care for takeout and dine-in
- 3Prepare hot and cold beverages including drip coffee, tea, and espresso drinks
- 4Handle cash and credit card transactions with accuracy
- 5Restock and arrange the counter and chilled case throughout each shift
- 6Clean service and customer areas to maintain a welcoming space
- 7Close out cash registers on Sundays with precision
Requirements7
- 11+ year of customer service experience in a cafe or retail setting
- 2Ability to stand for 8 hours per shift
- 3Barista skills preferred, including espresso machine operation
- 4Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- 5Excellent communication skills for team and customer interaction
- 6Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while multitasking
- 7Ability to work well in a team and take direction from shift leads
