Floor Nurse RN or LPN - Plainfield Health Care Center
Overview
You will own nursing care delivery on your shift at Plainfield Health Care Center, a skilled nursing facility in Indianapolis, Indiana. You will coordinate direct resident care, administer medications, and supervise nursing staff to ensure high-quality clinical outcomes. What You'll Do6
- 1Supervise nursing staff on your shift to ensure high-quality clinical outcomes and resident satisfaction.
- 2Administer medications and treatments timely per facility policy, and transcribe physician orders when allowed by the Nurse Practice Act.
- 3Provide direct resident care as needed, modeling best practices for nursing personnel.
- 4Manage nursing personnel effectively to minimize overtime and agency usage.
- 5Assess nursing staff performance against unit standards and care goals.
- 6Conduct regular staff meetings each shift and update the Director of Nursing (DON) on activities.
Requirements3
- 1Graduate of an LVN or RN program and licensed in the state of practice.
- 22+ years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
- 3Current BLS/CPR certification (all SNFs; ALFs as required by state).
