The Financial Analyst will own budget and quarterly forecast analysis while representing management goals. This role requires independent work and judgment within sensitive environments. Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities are essential for managing diverse management interactions.
What You'll Do8
- 1Conducts annual capital and operations budget-related functions and ensures integrity of budget information
- 2Performs monthly flux analysis between actual and budget prior year
- 3Provides insights on trended Return on Equity and Rate of Return for actual and budget
- 4Updates and modifies the Company’s financial forecasting model
- 5Supports manager in analyzing acquisitions and new business opportunities
- 6Prepares maintains analyzes publishes financial and key matrixes reports
- 7Assists manager with data compilation for rate case filings and quarterly audit requests
- 8Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor’s Degree in Economic Finance and Accounting or related discipline
- 2Minimum of four years of related experience in Accounting Finance
- 3Ability to read and analyze financial reports and present information to auditors
- 4Advanced computer skills
- 5Competent use of technology and re-evaluation of processes to increase efficiency accuracy and documentation
- 6Organized with strong attention to detail and time management
- 7Professionalism with internal and external contacts
- 8Strong organizational multi-tasking and project-planning skills
- 9Able to conduct and carry job functions with minimum supervision
Salary Insight
$85 - $110k per year
