Overview
The Field Electrician will install conduit wiring and electrical panels for refrigeration equipment and troubleshoot during installations. This role involves extensive travel and requires expertise in high-voltage systems. You will collaborate with construction teams and maintain compliance with NEC standards.
What You'll Do8
- 1Run conduit wiring and connect components like disconnects and circuit panels
- 2Install and test medium/high voltage automation and motor control systems
- 3Troubleshoot electrical layout issues during installations
- 4Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- 5Maintain PLC sensors and control wiring diagnostics
- 6Operate forklifts and electrical testing equipment
- 7Assist with construction tasks including insulation and welding
- 8Drive vehicles nationwide to meet project sites
Requirements9
- 1Minimum 5 years industrial electrical experience
- 2Proficiency with rigid conduit bending up to 4 inches
- 3Knowledge of three-phase motor systems and 480v AC circuits
- 4Valid driver's license and ability to travel nationwide
- 5Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally
- 6Physical stamina for standing and kneeling for extended periods
- 7Experience working in varied weather conditions with proper PPE
- 8Background check and clean driving record
- 9Strong mechanical aptitude and field problem-solving skills
