Employee Relations Manager Role at CSL Behring
Overview
The Employee Relations Manager leads regional employee relations, handling complex cases and advising leadership. This position improves employee experience while reducing organizational risk. Based in Holly Spring with 3 days weekly onsite expectations.
What You'll Do12
- 1Manage moderately complex ER cases independently and collaborate with peers, HR partners, legal counsel, and stakeholders to resolve issues
- 2Conduct confidential investigations into serious misconduct and prepare legally sound documentation for disciplinary actions
- 3Facilitate terminations including letters and meetings while maintaining fair documentation practices
- 4Evaluate situations requiring knowledge of company policies and provide feedback to management on best practices
- 5Partner with Learning department to develop training on ER services and accommodations
- 6Work in unionized environments to resolve grievances and interpret collective bargaining agreements
- 7Manage medical accommodation processes with HR and medical experts
- 8Educate leaders on corrective action and early intervention strategies
- 9Complete special HR/ER projects with clear timelines and deliverables
- 10Maintain accurate case management records for compliance reporting
- 11Support multiple locations remotely and drive high-performance culture
- 12Advocate for employees while balancing company values and legal requirements
Requirements11
- 1Education Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource management or related field with professional HR certification preferred
- 2Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as HR Generalist, HRBP, or Employee Relations Manager
- 3Strong knowledge of employment laws at county/regional levels and compliance with government regulations
- 4Proven experience managing investigations and employee relations in dynamic global organizations
- 5Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency with Portuguese preferred
- 6Experience supporting remote teams and handling complex multi-location operations
- 7Ability to work in unionized or works council environments
- 8Strong communication, diplomatic, and conflict resolution skills
- 9Experience with HR processes in matrixed reporting structures
- 10Familiarity with global healthcare industry and plasma collection network
- 11High employee, customer, and colleague focus with organizational skills
