Overview
We seek an Electrician to lead wiring installation and equipment setup in Vancouver WA. The role involves preparing sketches installing conduits and panels connecting power cables and troubleshooting systems. This position requires hands-on expertise in industrial electrical work and adherence to safety standards.
What You'll Do8
- 1Prepare sketches showing wiring locations and equipment placement following blueprints
- 2Measure cut bend and assemble electrical conduit
- 3Install control apparatus including switches relays and circuit breaker panels
- 4Connect power cables to equipment and install grounding leads
- 5Test circuit continuity using ohmmeters batteries buzzers and oscilloscopes
- 6Troubleshoot diagnose and repair electrical systems and production equipment
- 7Perform PLC troubleshooting and assist with programming
- 8Maintain accurate documentation of electrical work and ensure safety compliance
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Minimum 3 years commercial or industrial electrical experience
- 3Journeyman Electrician Washington State License A+ preferred
- 4Ability to diagnose repair production equipment up to 480V
- 5Experience reading wiring schematics ladder logic
- 6Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming
- 7Pass a pre-employment drug test
- 8Willingness to work extended schedules weekends and assigned shifts during fresh pack season
