What You'll Do10

  • 1Set up test benches and lab equipment for ECU validation, including Infotainment and Telematics systems.
  • 2Execute functional tests on ECU features such as audio, connectivity, and UI systems, documenting results and reporting defects.
  • 3Troubleshoot hardware and software issues using diagnostic tools like oscilloscope and multimeter.
  • 4Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to guide testing and issue diagnosis.
  • 5Perform low-level electrical measurements and signal analysis to verify ECU performance.
  • 6Support ECU integration, flashing, and configuration activities during validation cycles.
  • 7Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions for identified defects.
  • 8Maintain test logs and documentation, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • 9Collaborate with hardware, software, and QA teams to resolve cross-functional issues.
  • 10Perform regression testing on new ECU releases or updates.

Requirements8

  • 11+ years of experience in bench-level testing of ECUs or similar automotive electronics.
  • 2Hands-on experience with oscilloscope, multimeter, and diagnostic tools for signal analysis.
  • 3Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • 4Experience with CANoe, CANalyzer, or CAPL scripting for CAN communication testing.
  • 5Knowledge of PCBA and board-level debugging techniques.
  • 6Exposure to Infotainment UI/UX testing, audio/video validation, or connectivity features.
  • 7Basic scripting or programming skills in Python or other automation tools.
  • 8Understanding of automotive standards and quality processes.
