Early Intervention Education Specialist – Extensive Support Needs (Preschool/TK)
Overview
Spindle seeks an Early Intervention Education Specialist – Extensive Support Needs for preschool and TK students at Go Spindle in San Jose. The specialist will provide early intervention services and specialized instruction to build foundational communication motor and social skills. This role involves developing and monitoring IEPs with developmentally appropriate goals for children ages 3–5. The ideal candidate has strong family-centered practice and interdisciplinary collaboration skills. Compensation ranges from $35.34 to $50.34 hourly plus full benefits.
What You'll Do5
- 1Provide early intervention services and specialized instruction for preschool and TK students with extensive developmental needs
- 2Implement structured instructional approaches to develop foundational communication motor and social skills
- 3Develop and monitor IEPs with developmentally appropriate goals for children ages 3–5
- 4Partner closely with families early interventionists and related service providers for coordinated support
- 5Own and scale therapeutic interventions to meet individual student progress targets
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2California Education Specialist Credential – Extensive Support Needs (Early Childhood authorization strongly preferred)
- 3Strong family-centered practice and interdisciplinary team collaboration skills
- 4Experience providing early intervention or preschool special education services
- 5Developmental knowledge and strong family-centered practice skills
