We seek experienced early childhood educators to join our dynamic teaching team at Sinai Akiba Academy. This role involves designing play-based learning experiences for children aged 18 months to 5 years in a nurturing environment. What You'll Do11
- 1Design and facilitate play-based inquiry-driven learning experiences grounded in observation and child development
- 2Create nurturing environments supporting wellness emotional regulation independence and belonging
- 3Observe document and reflect on student learning to inform instruction and communicate growth
- 4Collaborate with colleagues to ensure coherence across classrooms and contribute to shared professional practices
- 5Model positive social skills emotional regulation and conflict resolution techniques appropriate for the age group
- 6Maintain open respectful communication with parents regarding their child's learning
- 7Engage in ongoing professional learning aligned with the science of learning and early childhood research
- 8Teach Jewish holidays through sensory experiences including touch taste smell see and hear
- 9Understand and teach Jewish holidays and rituals according to developmental stages
- 10Instill love for Israel through cultural practices like singing HaTikvah and celebrating Yom Ha'atzmaut
- 11Learn and sing Judaic songs with students
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Strong knowledge of AWS services
- 3Proficiency in React framework
- 4Experience with Kubernetes orchestration
- 5Certification in CPC Card
Salary Insight
$38 - $70k per year
