What You'll Do11
- 1Provide hands‑on personal care including toileting diapering and cleaning vomit
- 2Assist with feeding full or partial support
- 3Support hygiene and maintain clean personal work spaces
- 4Help wheelchair users transfer safely between locations
- 5Offer one‑on‑one guidance during classes and activities
- 6Prepare meals serve food and clean up after sessions
- 7Monitor physical health needs and respond promptly
- 8Demonstrate respectful communication tailored to client age
- 9Maintain confidentiality and privacy regarding personal matters
- 10Teach self‑care techniques for privacy and dignity
- 11Collaborate with team to create optimal learning environments
Requirements5
- 1CNA certification or one year direct service experience
- 2Safety precautions and emergency procedure knowledge
- 3Minimum five years experience working with developmental disabilities preferred
- 4Strong common sense responsibility compassion and patience
- 5Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word Theranest documentation and Zoom
