Driver Non-CDL, Local Routes & Customer Service
Overview
You'll drive vans and box trucks to customer locations across Miami, handling service requests and ensuring timely deliveries. You'll report to the Director of Operations, work with customers to resolve issues, and maintain productivity and quality standards. This role demands precision, route knowledge, and adaptability, with 2+ years of driving experience preferred. You'll join a team that values safety, accuracy, and a positive attitude, with overtime and weekend availability required.
What You'll Do10
- 1Drive vans or box trucks to customer locations for service needs, following assigned routes and schedules.
- 2Collect and verify customer information accurately, regardless of media type, using handheld devices.
- 3Meet department productivity and quality standards, completing deliveries within 90 days of start.
- 4Report to work on time, prepared for the day's assignments, including tire chain installation in inclement weather.
- 5Work with customers to fulfill service requests, providing clear communication and professional demeanor.
- 6Follow all federal and state transportation laws, as well as company policies, ensuring safe vehicle operation.
- 7Use GPS and city maps to navigate efficiently, adapting to route changes as needed.
- 8Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic checks, reporting any issues to the DOO.
- 9Assist in warehouse duties during off-peak hours, including order picking and loading.
- 10Attend training sessions on safety and customer service protocols, as required.
Requirements10
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2Valid driver's license and clean MVR check.
- 3Pass background check and random drug screens.
- 4Carry a cell phone for communication with the Records Center.
- 5Lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and tolerate heat and cold.
- 6Read and identify numbers for accurate order filling and receiving.
- 7Navigate city streets and read a city map.
- 8Work overtime and be available around the clock, including holidays.
- 9Pass physical and vision assessments as required.
- 10Commercial Driver's License preferred but not required.
