Overview
Deliver behind-the-wheel and classroom driver education to teens in the Chicago area. You'll own the student experience from first lesson to road test, working with Top Driver's proprietary curriculum and teaching tools. What You'll Do8
- 1Teach behind-the-wheel driving lessons to teens using Top Driver's state-approved curriculum.
- 2Instruct classroom sessions covering traffic laws, defensive driving, and vehicle operation.
- 3Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to build confidence and skill.
- 4Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment during all lessons.
- 5Track student attendance and performance records using company systems.
- 6Coordinate lesson schedules with students and parents to maximize availability.
- 7Respond to student questions and concerns with patience and clarity.
- 8Participate in training sessions to stay current with teaching methods and safety standards.
Requirements7
- 121+ years old with a valid Illinois driver's license and clean driving record.
- 21+ year of coaching or teaching experience preferred.
- 3Possess or be willing to obtain an ISBE Substitute Teaching License.
- 4Pass a background check and drug screening.
- 5Available for after-school hours, evenings, and weekends.
- 6Strong communication and customer service skills.
- 7Energetic, patient, and safety-minded attitude.
