What You'll Do6
- 1Design overhead and underground distribution systems using field data, client specs, and engineering standards.
- 2Build construction-ready packages in GTechnology, WorkPro, and PoleForeman.
- 3Review designs for compliance with NESC and utility standards.
- 4Conduct field visits to gather data and identify safety concerns.
- 5Maintain engineering documentation, drawings, and project records.
- 6Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to hit quality and schedule goals.
Requirements6
- 1Designer: High School Diploma or GED. Engineer: Bachelor's in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- 22+ years of utility distribution design experience.
- 3Proficiency with GTechnology, WorkPro, PoleForeman, or similar software.
- 4Strong knowledge of overhead and underground distribution systems.
- 5Field experience preferred.
- 6Strong communication and client-facing skills.
