Lead strategic oversight for the Office of Women’s Health Research Programs and SOS MATERNITY Network ensuring stability growth and high‑quality performance across sites. Provide project management operational leadership collaborate with senior leadership develop metrics identify continuous process improvements.
What You'll Do10
- 1Oversee data team operations ensuring accurate collection management reporting integrity workflow efficiency
- 2Lead cross‑functional coordination process improvement quality control compliance with data governance standards
- 3Support data collection at Network sites throughout the state
- 4Lead Steering Committee meetings with Principal Investigators
- 5Conduct monthly one‑on‑one meetings with each Patient Navigator track enrollment troubleshoot outcomes
- 6Manage IRB documentation regulatory submissions and compliance processes meet federal state institutional ethical requirements
- 7Handle protocol amendments consent documentation reporting obligations coordinate cross‑functional efforts maintain regulatory readiness
- 8Hire navigators for new sites identify needs oversee training lead site initiation visits at clinical sites
- 9Partner with faculty departments external stakeholders advance research mission expand programs
- 10Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements14
- 1Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- 2Master’s degree preferred
- 3Three to four years of program management and research administration experience
- 4Intermediate three to five years experience in grant contract administration university information systems
- 5Considerable experience with pre‑award activity post‑award activity federal cost principles research compliance knowledge of agency practices regulations and leadership success in comparable situations
- 6Proven ability to submit complex grant applications manage relationships with state federal and other funding agencies
- 7Extensive knowledge of IRB processes regulatory requirements compliance standards federal state institutional policies and evidence of leadership success
- 8Familiarity with healthcare systems operations patient navigation models across diverse clinical sites
- 9Understanding of NIH sponsored and industry sponsored research studies including drug trials and large‑scale network initiatives
- 10Skills in quality improvement methodologies operational performance metrics supervisory abilities delegation mentoring training and motivational coaching
- 11Expertise in project program management cross‑functional team coordination managing competing priorities
- 12Strong communication skills verbal written with employees stakeholders and public
- 13Customer focus service orientation
