  • 7Build pipelines for hard-to-fill roles and partner with leaders for effective hiring decisions
  • 8Onboard staff to be successful quickly with clear expectations and support structures
  • 9Design performance management frameworks supporting growth accountability and retention
  • 10Develop foundational career pathways for non-instructional staff prioritizing clarity and transparency
  • 11Partner with principals to strengthen performance conversations and follow-through
  • 12Implement professional learning systems that build core competencies and align with performance management
  • 13Serve as trusted advisor on employee relations matters including performance concerns and exits

Requirements11

  • 15+ years experience in talent HR or people operations with ownership of strategy and execution
  • 2Strong data literacy to drive decisions using talent system data
  • 3Experience in K–12 or mission-driven organizations preferred
  • 4Demonstrated success designing and implementing talent and performance management systems
  • 5Deep alignment with Yu Ming’s mission and equity commitments
  • 6Proven track record in building recruitment and onboarding systems
  • 7Expertise in performance management and career pathway development
  • 8Commitment to legal compliance and equitable HR practices
