Overview
Lead demolition operations overseeing heavy lifting and carpentry tasks. Manage skilled carpentry work including wall construction and sheetrock installation. Complete maintenance and repair projects with quality workmanship. Provide estimates and recommend resources. Protect university property and restore facilities to original condition. Clean work areas and maintain equipment.
What You'll Do11
- 1Lead demolition crews using hand and power tools to execute carpentry projects
- 2Construct new walls and install sheetrock doors and hardware
- 3Perform maintenance and repair tasks with quality craftsmanship
- 4Assemble fabricate build and install materials as needed
- 5Provide repair estimates and recommend additional personnel
- 6Protect university property and equipment during repairs
- 7Restore office areas to original condition upon completion
- 8Clean work areas machines and equipment
- 9Practice preventive maintenance of carpentry tools
- 10Comply with environmental safety regulations
- 11Contribute to departmental success through additional duties
Requirements9
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Construction carpentry experience
- 3Knowledge of sheetrock installation
- 4Understanding of demolition techniques
