As a Delivery Specialist, you will own the safe and timely delivery of auto parts to professional customers across the Kansas City metro area. Using fleet management devices and company vehicles, you will manage routes, collect payments, and handle returns. What You'll Do7
- 1Drive company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers, ensuring each stop meets our service standards within your first 90 days.
- 2Operate hand-held fleet devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, log mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
- 3Secure all delivery assets, including vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and collected cash, at all times.
- 4Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores) and complete driver return slips accurately.
- 5Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or damage to the store manager immediately.
- 6Fill the fuel tank and lock the vehicle at the end of each shift, following company protocol.
- 7Assist with store tasks as needed, including customer service, stocking, sweeping, and merchandising, to support team goals.
Requirements7
- 1Valid driver's license and a clean driving record meeting company standards (14/18-point system).
- 26+ months experience in delivery driving or a related role.
- 3Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences, such as part numbers.
- 4Strong interpersonal communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- 5Adaptability to changing delivery schedules and routes.
- 6Familiarity with automotive parts is a plus.
- 7Bilingual in Spanish is desired.
