What You'll Do8
- 1Load and organize product inventory from the warehouse into your vehicle, ensuring stock matches delivery requirements.
- 2Follow set routes for daily deliveries, using maps or GPS to track progress and arrive on time.
- 3Unload products at each stop, confirming delivery via scan or written signature, and collect payments as needed.
- 4Deliver goods to client-specific locations, maintaining constant communication with warehouse staff on delivery progress.
- 5Maintain and organize all delivery paperwork, submitting it to the appropriate personnel at shift end.
- 6Report any accidents or vehicle issues to supervisors immediately, adhering to all road rules and safety regulations.
- 7Verify inventory counts against the manifest, reconciling discrepancies before departure to prevent shortages.
- 8Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts to safely move product, following DOT physical requirements.
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and no moving violations.
- 3Pass a DOT physical examination.
- 4Proficient at driving and parking large vehicles, including box trucks.
- 5Ability to lift 25 pounds comfortably and work on feet for extended periods.
- 6Experience with hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts is a plus.
- 7Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with strong verbal and written communication.
- 8Professional demeanor, able to provide positive customer service experiences.
Salary Insight
