Overview
Own the last mile of the Domino's experience at a high-volume store on NE Halsey St. You'll deliver pizzas, sides, and beverages to homes and businesses, navigate multi-story buildings, and represent the brand at every doorstep. You'll also prep ingredients, take phone orders, and maintain a spotless store. This role blends driving, customer service, and basic food prep, with Domino's franchise standards and a valid driver's license as key requirements.
What You'll Do8
- 1Deliver pizzas, sides, and beverages by car to customers within the designated delivery area, navigating traffic and adverse weather.
- 2Carry products through multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, climbing up to five flights of stairs when required.
- 3Operate all kitchen equipment including pizza cutter and pizza peel, and stock ingredients from delivery area to storage and walk-in cooler.
- 4Prepare product by shaping dough, adding toppings, and running the oven, maintaining quality and safety standards.
- 5Receive and process telephone orders, enter them into the computer keyboard or touch screen, and handle cash and make correct change.
- 6Take inventory and complete paperwork, tracking stock levels and ordering supplies.
- 7Clean equipment and facility daily, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work surfaces.
- 8Deliver flyers and door hangers to promote store specials within the delivery area.
Requirements10
- 1Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- 2Access to an insured vehicle for delivery use.
- 31+ year experience in food service or delivery preferred, or equivalent training.
- 4Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (cases of ingredients) and carry up to 30 pounds (pizza sauce) over short distances.
- 5Physical stamina to stand for long periods, walk, climb stairs, and stoop/bend repeatedly.
- 6Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately to make correct monetary change.
- 7Verbal and written communication skills to take orders and interact with customers and co-workers.
- 8Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the delivery area.
- 9Comfort with fluctuating temperatures: from 36 degrees in cooler to 90+ degrees in work areas, and adverse weather conditions when delivering.
- 10Ability to work under stress, meet strict quality standards, and perform repetitive tasks.
