Overview
You own last-mile delivery for Domino's Pizza at our ASU location, handling 50-100 orders per shift in a fast-paced environment. You'll pair with a team of 5-10 drivers and in-store staff to ensure hot, accurate orders reach customers within 30 minutes. This role offers flexible hours ideal for students or supplemental income, with clear advancement paths to management and beyond. You'll master GPS navigation and customer service, making you a key part of our local store's success.
What You'll Do8
- 1Drive a company car to deliver pizzas within a 3-mile radius, completing 10-20 deliveries per shift.
- 2Load and unload delivery bags from the vehicle, ensuring food stays hot and secure.
- 3Use GPS and map apps to navigate efficiently, updating routes in real time.
- 4Collect cash and card payments, making accurate change and recording transactions.
- 5Safely operate a domestic sedan in all weather conditions, obeying traffic laws.
- 6Inspect the vehicle daily for cleanliness, fuel, and mechanical issues.
- 7Assist with in-store tasks like folding boxes, restocking cups, and answering phones when not driving.
- 8Communicate with store staff to coordinate order handoffs and customer drop-offs.
Requirements8
- 118+ years old with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- 26 months of driving experience, preferably in delivery or ride-sharing.
- 3Ability to lift 50 pounds and navigate multi-story buildings.
- 4Basic math skills for handling cash and making change.
- 5Customer service experience, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- 6Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- 7Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- 8Comfort with variable weather and temperatures from 36°F to 90°F+.
