What You'll Do11
- 1Prepare a variety of deli items including sandwiches salads and sides following established recipes and standards
- 2Maintain a clean and organized workstation adhering to strict sanitation guidelines and food safety protocols
- 3Cook all types of foods such as meats seafood and vegetables using frying grilling roasting and sautéing methods
- 4Operate and maintain kitchen equipment including grills ovens and slicers ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness
- 5Provide exceptional customer service addressing inquiries and special requests with a positive attitude
- 6Assist with food preparation tasks including chopping vegetables preparing sauces and portioning ingredients
- 7Collaborate effectively with other team members demonstrating teamwork and a positive work ethic
- 8Monitor food inventory and report any shortages or discrepancies to the deli manager
- 9Adhere to all operation procedures including opening and closing duties
- 10Practice effective time management to ensure timely food preparation and service
- 11Maintain a focus on food safety and sanitation throughout all stages of food handling
Requirements11
- 1Working knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- 2Valid Food Handler's Card
- 3General knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- 4Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- 5Excellent communication skills
- 6Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- 7Demonstrated ability to be detail-oriented
- 8Prior experience in a deli or similar food service environment
- 9Experience with grilling techniques
- 10Familiarity with kitchen management principles
- 11Experience with multitasking
