Overview
eSimplicity seeks a Database Engineer V to support the CMS National Data Warehouse. This role designs and maintains data processing systems and supports data warehouse initiatives. It involves analyzing requirements and developing database solutions.
What You'll Do11
- 1Gather information from existing systems and analyze program requirements
- 2Provide technical guidance on complex database challenges
- 3Develop detailed specifications and documentation for design and implementation
- 4Conduct gap analyses for source-system changes
- 5Lead data analysis and database design including logical and physical models
- 6Create and maintain source-to-target mapping documentation
- 7Analyze complex ETL mappings and AWS Glue data flows
- 8Manage metadata across ERwin Oracle and Amazon Redshift environments
- 9Write complex SQL queries for large datasets
- 10Tune database performance and recommend improvements
- 11Evaluate multi-data-mart integration opportunities
