What You'll Do11
- 1Design and implement resilient architectures for video surveillance and access control systems
- 2Configure and harden Genetec Security Center components including Directory and Synergis platforms
- 3Deploy scalable failover solutions achieving 99.99% uptime across all data centers
- 4Lead root cause analysis for outages and enforce corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- 5Maintain comprehensive documentation of architectural diagrams, disaster recovery plans, and troubleshooting playbooks
- 6Architect and manage change management processes for all system modifications
- 7Monitor system health and automate health‑checks to detect and remediate vulnerabilities before they impact operations
- 8Support third‑party integrations using API/SDK mechanisms within Azure or GCP environments
- 9Ensure adherence to ISO 22301, ISO 22237, ISO 27001, and SOC2 requirements
- 10Collaborate with SOC teams to deliver clear technical communication to non‑technical stakeholders
- 11Travel up to 20% of time, including international assignments, to support on‑site projects
Requirements11
- 15+ years experience in Physical Security Engineering or related infrastructure roles
- 2Advanced expertise in Genetec Security Center platform, including Directory, Archiver, and Synergis
- 3Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments for deployment, maintenance, and hardening
- 4Deep understanding of resiliency best practices and designs for external audits
- 5Solid grasp of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, VLANs) and SQL databases
- 6Proven ability to integrate third‑party systems and deliver field solutions with external vendors
- 7Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 8Demonstrated ability to work independently with attention to detail and follow‑through
- 9Certifications: GSEC, Security+, Network+, CCNA, CISSP, or manufacturer credentials (Genetec, Axis, Hanwha, Bosch)
- 10Specialized experience in Physical Security Operations Center (SOC) or IT project management
- 11Familiarity with ISO 22301, ISO 22237, ISO 27001, and SOC2 controls for data center security
