Overview
You design and implement data automation solutions on AWS, integrating Azure services and Generative AI to support enterprise workflows. You own scalable data pipelines that connect cloud services and enterprise tools. Your work enables automated decision-making and insights across the organization. Joining a data platform team, you collaborate with engineers and data scientists. This role offers full remote flexibility with quarterly travel to Gaithersburg, MD.
What You'll Do7
- 1Build AWS data pipelines using Lambda, Step Functions, and Glue to automate data ingestion and transformation.
- 2Design and deploy automation workflows that integrate Azure services and Generative AI models.
- 3Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure pipeline reliability and accuracy.
- 4Debug and optimize existing automation scripts for performance and cost efficiency.
- 5Collaborate with data scientists to integrate Generative AI models into production pipelines.
- 6Document pipeline architecture and code for maintainability and knowledge sharing.
- 7Drive adoption of infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Requirements6
- 15+ years building data pipelines and automation solutions with AWS services.
- 2Hands-on experience with Python and SQL for data processing.
- 3Working knowledge of Azure services and integration with AWS.
- 4Applied experience with Generative AI models (e.g., GPT, Claude) or frameworks.
- 5Familiarity with Kubernetes or containerization for deployment.
- 6Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex distributed systems.
