Overview

You will advise a government customer on cybersecurity strategy and governance, shaping policy and risk decisions for complex enterprises. You will drive RMF and ATO activities, integrate security into DevSecOps pipelines, and brief executive leadership on security posture. Your work aligns with KBR's National Security Solutions team, supporting critical national defense missions. What You'll Do5

  • 1Drive RMF and ATO activities, including reciprocity initiatives and continuous monitoring strategies, during the first 90 days.
  • 2Advise on zero trust planning: identity, segmentation, encryption, and secure access patterns, aligning with mission requirements.
  • 3Guide incident response processes, vulnerability management, and security operations improvements across the enterprise.
  • 4Integrate security into DevSecOps pipelines and acquisition planning to embed security-by-design.
  • 5Develop metrics, dashboards, and briefs to report security posture to executive leadership.

Requirements6

  • 1Current and active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
  • 26+ years advising executive leadership on cybersecurity strategy, governance, and risk management for complex enterprises.
  • 3Experience with security frameworks including RMF, NIST CSF, and NIST 800-53.
  • 4Experience improving ATO processes and promoting reciprocity across systems.
  • 5Experience developing security policies, standards, and implementation guidance.
  • 6Education and experience: Master's degree in Business or STEM plus 6 years experience, Bachelor's degree plus 8 years, or High school diploma plus 12 years.
