Overview

Python and C++ powered cryptanalytic work at scale in a mission-focused team. You will design and evaluate algorithms for cryptographic and security problems, build mathematical models, and optimize cryptographic processes on high-performance computing environments. You will contribute to data analytics, data enrichment, and processing for relevant datasets while collaborating with a cross-functional team.

  • 1Build and evaluate algorithms for cryptographic and security challenges with measurable impact within 90 days
  • 2Design mathematical models to analyze cryptographic systems and identify vulnerabilities in diverse computing environments
  • 3Scale high-performance computing workflows to optimize cryptographic processes across platforms
  • 4Develop and maintain data analytics pipelines for cryptographic datasets and security-related data
  • 5Collaborate with engineering and research teams to deliver secure, robust solutions

Requirements8

  • 1Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
  • 2Doctoral degree plus 4 years of relevant experience or Master's degree plus 6 years or Bachelor's degree with 8 years or Associate degree with 10 years in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
  • 3Programming experience in Python and C++ and familiarity with Spark
  • 4Knowledge of high-performance computing and mathematical modeling of cryptographic systems
  • 5Experience designing and evaluating algorithms or methods to address cryptographic/security problems
  • 6Strong mathematical background with calculus and upper-level math courses
  • 7Experience with data analytics, data enrichment, and data processing for relevant datasets
  • 8Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC
