Overview
Leidos seeks a Code Development and Test Engineer to lead digital infrastructure efforts for the Department of the Air Force. The role involves maintaining DI-NIL architecture and supporting rapid deployment of SIL space systems while ensuring DoD compliance and optimal performance. This position requires deep technical expertise and ownership of verification and validation processes.
What You'll Do11
- 1Design and implement automated test scripts for code deployment and validation
- 2Lead code development for SIL space provisioning and system configuration
- 3Maintain DI-NIL architecture for RHEL Windows and other systems
- 4Conduct verification and validation testing throughout development lifecycle
- 5Document code and process flows for repeatable operations
- 6Configure environments with least privilege access models
- 7Backup team members for continuous DI-NIL support
- 8Collaborate with customers to configure proper access controls
- 9Perform ACAS/Nessus security testing and remediation discussions
- 10Drive agile methodology adoption using Jira and Confluence
- 11Support network topology validation for system performance assessment
Requirements11
- 1US citizen with Secret clearance and TS/SCI clearance maintenance capability
- 2Bachelor's degree with 8+ years relevant experience or Master's with 6+ years
- 3Proven experience in DoD system security testing and remediation
- 4Experience with cloud edge computing and network design
- 5Expertise in Agile program execution and test automation
- 6Background in ABMS or JADC2 initiative involvement
- 7Demonstrated ability to work across diverse technical disciplines
- 8Strong communication skills for customer and team collaboration
- 9Knowledge of DoD network configuration and compliance requirements
- 10Experience with ACAS/Nessus tooling and vulnerability remediation
- 11Track record of delivering complex multi-domain system solutions
