What You'll Do8
- 1Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts according to specifications
- 2Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate machining
- 3Monitor machine operations and adjust settings to maintain quality standards
- 4Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot CNC equipment
- 5Inspect finished products using calipers and micrometers to verify compliance
- 6Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
- 7Maintain clean organized work areas following safety protocols
- 8Drive continuous improvement initiatives for machining efficiency
Requirements6
- 1High school diploma or equivalent with technical degree preferred
- 2Proven experience as CNC lathe machinist or similar role
- 3Strong understanding of CNC programming and operation
- 4Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- 5Familiarity with precision measurement instruments
- 6Knowledge of safety procedures in machining environments
