Overview

The Cleaning Associate owns the cleaning overall appearance and cleanliness of the store. Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Open availability especially on nights and weekends is preferred.

What You'll Do20

• 1Follows department procedures to standardize the cleaning practices at the store level
• 2Adheres to the cleaning department’s work schedules
• 3Delivers exceptional customer service through cleaning practices for the store
• 4Is familiar with the Cleaning Department’s MSDS sheets
• 5Cleans and sanitizes restrooms/bathrooms using established practices and procedures
• 6Replenishes restroom dispensers
• 7When requested, will shampoo carpets
• 8Cleans, dust and wipes store furniture, arcades, and equipment; sweeps, mops, and vacuums floors, empties/cleans wastebaskets and trash containers
• 9Uses and maintains assigned cleaning equipment and hand tools; scrubbers, extractors, washers, brooms, mops, and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, and more
• 10Washes walls and glass surfaces; use ladders when required in work assignments
• 11Follows instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies
• 12Moves furniture, equipment, supplies, and tools on an incidental basis
• 13Washes accessible interior and exterior windows
• 14Responsible for the laundering of cleaning rags and dust mops
• 15Keeps informed on the company’s policies and procedures as they relate to the Facility Department
• 16Conducts alcohol and age restriction control in accordance with company policies
• 17Conducts lost and found procedures in accordance with company policies
• 18Seeks constant improvement or more efficient and less expensive ways and means in department work processes
• 19Complies and maintains confidentiality of all company policies and procedures
• 20Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area
