Class A Driver, Local Delivery & Customer Support
Overview
Own local delivery for Medline’s private fleet, operating Class A vehicles to transport life-saving medical products to commercial and residential customers. This role supports timely, accurate, and safe deliveries while building positive customer relationships. You’ll work with a national network of distribution centers and updated trucks, with home daily on local routes.
What You'll Do7
- 1Load and secure product from the facility into a truck
- 2Safely operate a Class A vehicle between facility and customer destinations on a delivery route
- 3Unload and deliver product at customer facilities and provide documentation
- 4Assist customers in person and address questions while maintaining safety practices
- 5Communicate with dispatch to adjust routes or schedules to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations
- 6Maintain travel and cargo logs per Federal and State regulations and company policy
- 7Perform vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation and adequate fuel levels
Requirements5
- 1Minimum 2 years tractor trailer driving experience
- 2Class A CDL
- 3Licensed to operate assigned vehicle
- 4Clean driving record with no serious violations
- 5High school diploma or equivalent
Salary Insight
$50 - $73k per year
