What You'll Do9

  • 1Operate Decanter centrifuges, belt presses, and filter presses to meet daily processing targets, adjusting parameters for optimal solids separation.
  • 2Complete daily equipment checklists and document operational data to ensure compliance with SOPs and safety standards.
  • 3Unload waste from incoming trucks using centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, ensuring proper containment and spill prevention.
  • 4Use 5K hotsy pressure washers to clean equipment and work areas, maintaining a safe and sanitary environment.
  • 5Secure all containers with chock blocks and jack stands before loading or unloading, following OSHA and company protocols.
  • 6Maintain accurate waste tracking paperwork for every load, ensuring full chain-of-custody compliance.
  • 7Respond to emergency situations using fire extinguishers and other safety equipment, per training.
  • 8Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment usage and troubleshoot operational issues in real-time.
  • 9Participate in ongoing safety training and apply Clean Harbors 3-6-5 safety philosophy to all tasks.

Requirements9

  • 16+ months of centrifuge operating experience, preferably with Decanter units.
  • 2Hands-on experience with belt presses, filter presses, and auxiliary equipment like pumps and conveyors.
  • 3Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving policy for company or personal vehicle use.
  • 4Knowledge of emergency equipment, including fire extinguishers and spill response procedures.
  • 5Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in an industrial setting.
  • 6Must be able to pass TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) background check.
  • 7Fluent in English to understand safety training and respond to emergency instructions.
  • 8Willing to complete classroom and on-the-job training for specialty equipment operation.
  • 9Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow SOPs.
