What You'll Do8
- 1Drive Class A tractor-trailers on assigned dedicated, regional, or OTR routes, delivering freight safely and on schedule.
- 2Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment readiness and compliance with DOT regulations.
- 3Manage electronic logs and paperwork in accordance with hours of service rules, maximizing miles while staying compliant.
- 4Communicate with dispatch on pickups, deliveries, and any route adjustments to keep freight moving efficiently.
- 5Handle securement of cargo and operate liftgates or other equipment as needed for specialized loads.
- 6Maintain a clean driving record and a professional image with shippers and receivers.
- 7Participate in paid training to stay current on safety protocols and defensive driving techniques.
- 8Earn safety and productivity bonuses by meeting performance targets without incidents or violations.
Requirements7
- 1Valid Class A CDL and minimum age of 21.
- 23+ months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the last 36 months.
- 3Pass a DOT drug screen and maintain a clean work history.
- 4Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical demands of loading and unloading freight.
- 5Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- 6Effective communication with dispatch and customers via phone and radio.
- 7Comfortable with extended periods of driving and adherence to federal safety regulations.
